Arkansas Point Campgrounds RV Park at the south boat ramp is the perfect place to drive the RV into and stay. There are two other campgrounds around the reservoir if this one happens to be full.
Chatfield State Park
This state park may be the closest one to Denver, Colorado. This park provides well-maintained campsites, a reservoir for water-based activities, and access to hiking and biking trails. RV camping is available April through October with numerous sites and 146 sites with full hookups of water, sewer, electricity. This location is certainly your quickest and easiest getaway from Denver.
